You can’t go wrong with Four Seasons… only drawback is that they’re super expensive!

There are 2 Four Seasons in Bali:
- Four Season Jimbaran (by the beach)
- Four Seasons Sayan (in Ubud in the jungle)

While I actually never stayed in FS Jimbaran, I did stay in FS Sayan, twice. It was magnificent! You should check out FS website:

If FS is not for you, Hard Rock Hotel in Kuta Beach is a pretty cool place too (it’s close to shops/restaurants/beach):

Also, have you ever considered renting a private villa in Bali? The pricing are very reasonable… and you can get maid service too (butler/cook/maid) for cheap so you don’t have to eat out (save money that way & still live like a king b/c someone wait on you!)

Do you want the expensive, moderate, or cheap one? One cozy expensive hotel Hard Rock Hotel, by the shore of Kuta Beach. You just need to cross the road to go to the beach. There are many hotels around Kuta. Almost in every corner, especially if you are backpacker.
Then, in Sanur, the majority are expensive Hotels: Sanur Beach. the moderate, such as Ari Putri hotel offer good serving with reasonably cost. I spend 3 nights there. But Sanur is far from the airport, about 30 minutes in the morning, and can be 1 hour in the noon.

There are too many affordable good hotels in Bali!! Please be more specific with the area and perhaps range of price?

luxury – Four Season, Ritz Carlton
high class – Sheraton Lagoon, Grand Hyatt
Mid range – Melia, Bintang Bali
low budget – plenty along the Kuta Beach
no budget – try the coconut tree
